Walkie Talkie
Redesigned a walkie talkie by developing one of four conceptual directions through sketching, CAD modeling, and physical prototyping. The project focused on form development, usability, and ergonomic evaluation while moving from early ideation to a refined, buildable product.
Ideation
Early ideation explored walkie talkie form, with emphasis on button hierarchy, ergonomics, and speaker grill placement.

Scenario Development
Explored four contexts — home, festival, boating, and hiking — to study how environment and user needs shape form and interface decisions.

Direction Refinement + Physical Mockups
Selected two directions for refinement and produced clay mockups to study ergonomics, proportion, and interface layout in physical form.

Detail Exploration
Explored individual interface features through sketches and 3D printed studies to refine ergonomics, tactility, and housing details.
Final Prototypes
Placed final prototypes into scenarios to evaluate ergonomics, visibility, and real-world usability.
Final Product
Placing the final design in each use scenerio
