SimmrSip Bottle
Redesigned a walkie talkie by developing one of four conceptual directions through sketching, CAD modeling, and physical prototyping. The project focused on form development, usability, and ergonomic evaluation while moving from early ideation to a refined, buildable product.
Ideation
Concept sketches exploring bottle form, grip ergonomics, lid mechanisms, and modular configurations.
Cooking System Integration
Eight concept directions exploring bottle integration with Jetboil systems, focusing on modularity, heat use, and packability.
Grip vs. Handle Studies
Focused on two ergonomic directions — grippy surface vs. integrated handle — to study handling and pouring interaction.
Soft vs. Rigid Handle Exploration
Compared soft flexible handles and rigid angular handles to evaluate comfort, control, and heat durability.
Final Form Exploration (Handle)
Refined bottle form around the selected handle through sketch studies and physical prototyping.
CAD Development
Developed the design in CAD to resolve moving parts, sealing, and assembly.
Final Product
The final design is one where the user can eat or drink from the product. It is designed to suit multiple scenarios from hiking to comping.
